Chicago and Paris

Approximately 8 months old now, these two girls were born in rescue after their mum was handed into us – underweight, extremely small for her age and terrified of people, she had certainly not had the best start! Chicago and Paris have had a better deal but are both naturally shy.

They respond well to patient, consistent handling and really enjoy meeting new guinea pigs – or talking to them in an adjacent run if they are un-castrated males! They are not suitable for children.

stimpy

Stimpy

Aged approximately 18 months, Stimpy was brought to us by the kind lady who found him left in a cardboard box on her doorstep. He is a lovely guinea pig. Extremely confident and happy to be handled, he is very much the extrovert of our current cavy group.

He is a great conversationalist and loves to chatter to other guinea pigs...and rabbits...the cats...staff...anyone that will listen!

Earle and Flo

Earle & Flo:

This pair of approximately 2 year old guineapigs are very much a pair and will need to stay together.

They were very shy on arrival but have been in a foster home which has helped their confidence and they are now much better.

They are not suitable for homing with young children as they would find that too much, but would be fine with older children/adults.

Bobby, Jack (and Jill)

(Harlequin Rabbits)

These Harlequin rabbits are aged between 10 and 13 months and came to us as a result of a relationship split.

Intelligent and active, they need plenty of space and, ideally, a digging pit. They are all good at being handled and are happiest staying as a group.

Baby Buns:

Broccoli and Bean - these bunnies were the result of accidental breeding – turns out the parents weren’t sisters after all! Young and inexperienced, they are still learning about the world and are wonderful to watch. They have been kept in house so far and would need to stay in heated facilities until the warmer weather.

Topsy Turvy

Topsy Turvy:

A delightful youngster, this 12 week old girl is friendly, handleable and sociable. She finds the world intriguing and loves exploring. She can get lonely and would be happiest living with another rabbit. She likes daily access to a decent sized run with plenty of grazing and different things to do.

Nuage

Nuage:

Age unknown but guessed to be a young adult, Nuage was privately rescued from certain death – her owner had decided that she was surplus to requirements and was going to knock her on the head!

A pretty, slightly timid little thing, Nuage is a real sweetheart. She is quite sensitive and would benefit from plenty of contact time to build up her confidence.

She needs a happy, confident rabbit to be her companion and guide.

ben and geri

Ben & Geri

This 10 month old brother and sister pair are like chalk and cheese. Ben is a really big lad, a proper bruiser, who knows if you are a novice at handling ferrets and can't resist the temptation to make you jump.

Geri is far smaller and gentler and actually does enjoy a cuddle. They are both curious explorers and love new environments and new toys.

Ben needs a confident handler with some experience of ferrets and their sense of humour!

cola

Cola

Little Cola is a mature ferret who was brought into us as a stray in June of last year. He is gentle and lazy, enjoying a little wander before his cuddles.

He has mixed with other ferrets but tends to get bullied so would probably be happiest kept as a single ferret. He thrives on being spoilt and can get quite depressed if he doesn`t feel special!

ben and geri

Spick & Span:

This pair of young adult male rats are lovely. Intelligent and inquisitive they have been well handled and well cared for.

They would like a home where they can have plenty of interaction with people and new things to do and to play with.
